This site collects nothing of its own
There is no login, no account and nothing to fill in. There are no adverts, no visitor statistics and no cookies of ours. The search box at the top searches the page you have already loaded; nothing is sent while you type.
Nothing is stored about pupils either. Watching a video or reading a transcript leaves no trace here that I can look at.
What does happen, and who does it
The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web server it keeps log lines with your IP address, the time and your browser, so that faults and abuse can be seen. Those logs belong to Vercel and I do not read them.
The typefaces come from Google Fonts and the video thumbnails from YouTube's servers. Your IP address therefore reaches Google as soon as a page loads, even if you never play a video.
The videos themselves sit in the youtube-nocookie.com player, which sets no cookies until you press play. Once you do, data goes to YouTube and Google's privacy policy applies to it.
What does not happen
No profiles are built, nothing is sold or shared with advertisers, and there is no newsletter you end up on without noticing.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to see, correct and delete your data. Because I store nothing myself, there is in practice nothing here to show or erase. If you think otherwise, or want to know how something works, do write.
